September 29 - Bands of America Regional in Clarksville, TN October 13 - Branson Marching Invitational November 2-3 - Bands of America Super Regional in San Antonio, TX November 8-10 - Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, IN HOME FOOTBALL GAMES at Bob Shore Stadium August 31 against Parkview, September 14 against Central , and October 5 against Glendale (at 6:30 pm before the homecoming football game). ***If you are not following the band to BOA Clarksville, make sure you attend the September 28 game against Lebanon. BAND CAMP Color Guard Camps - June 18-21 from 1:30-6 pm, July 9-12 from 9 am-4 pm, and July 18 from 9 am-4pm Frontline Percussion Camp - June 19 from 2-7 pm. July 16 from noon to 5 pm and July 17 from 9am-4 pm. Battery Percussion Camp - June 20 from 2-7 pm and July 18-19 from 9 am-4 pm. Full Percussion Camp - June 21 from 2-7 pm and July 20 from 9 am-4 pm Full Band Camp - July 30-August 3 from 8am-4 pm, August 6-10 from 7 am-12 noon, August 13 from 7 am-12 noon, August 14 from 5-9 pm, August 15 from 9 am-12 noon, August 16 from 5-9 pm, August 17 from 7-10 am, August 20 from 6:30-10 am NIGHT REHEARSALS August 23, 30. October 4, 11, 18, 25 SATURDAY REHEARSALS September 8 from 8 am-4 pm, September 22 from 8 am-4 pm, October 6 from 1 pm-9 pm, and October 27 from 8 am-4 pm Middle School Concert and Winter Guard Performance - Monday, February 26 in the Middle School gym. *7th Grade 6 pm. *8th Grade 6:20. *Winter Guard 6:40. This event is part of the Middle School Student Showcase, so there will be a lot of activity throughout the entire middle school.
Booster Meeting - Tuesday, February 27 at 7 pm in the Camdenton High School band room. Be a part of this award-winning band program. These meetings are always at 7 pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Winter Guard at Kickapoo in Springfield, MO - Saturday, March 3. Band Formal - Saturday, March 3 from 8-11 pm in the Camdenton High School band room. WInter Guard (varsity only) at Union High School in Tulsa - Sat, March 10. Winter Guard (JV and varsity) at St. Louis Regional. Frances Howell High School - Saturday April 17. District Large Ensemble Contest - Tuesday, March 20 in the R.C. Worthan Auditorium at Camdenton High School. Percussion Orchestra at 1 pm; Concert Band at 1:30 pm; Symphonic Band 6:10 pm. Please attend these great musical performances. Winter Guard MCCGA Finals in Springfield, Mo - Saturday April 7. Jazz and Java - Tuesday, April 17 at 7 pm in the Camdenton High School band room. Both jazz bands play at this event where the band room is transformed into a laid back jazz club. Enjoy listening to jazz, eating decadent sweets, and bidding on desserts at the dessert auction. Elegant Evening - Friday, April 20 in the Camdenton High School Commons. $50 per seat will get you into this art-filled event that supports the Camdenton School District Education Foundation. Funds from this event supports student scholarships and teacher classroom grants. The Camdenton High School Jazz Band is highlighted throughout this event where you will enjoy five star dining from the Camdenton LCTC Culinary Department. Go to camdentonschools.org for tickets. Band Booster Meeting - Tuesday, April 24 at 7 pm in the high school band room High School End of Year Concert - Monday, May 7 at 7 pm in the Camdenton High School gym. Come enjoy a great concert by the Concert and Symphonic Bands while recognizing the seniors and all of the great awards and accomplishments from a fantastic 2017-2018 school year. Middle School End of Year Concert - Camdenton Middle School Gym Monday May 14 at 7 pm. Come out to support the future of the Camdenton Band. Camdenton High School Graduation - Thursday, May 17 at 8 pm at Bob Shore Stadium. Come cheer on the graduating band seniors while enjoying Pomp and Circumstance played by the Camdenton High School Band. Don’t miss the 8th grade band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band Christmas Concert performances Tuesday December 12 at 7:30 pm in the R.C. Worthan Auditorium at Camdenton High School.

Saturday, March 4 - Middle School - 8th Grade Music Contest in Marshfield, MO - All 1 ratings in their performances. Friday, March 10 - Large Ensemble State MSSHA Music Festival at Camdenton High School in the R.C. Worthan Auditorium. Percussion Orchestra - 6:30 pm. Concert Band - 7 pm. Symphonic Band - 8 pm. This is a great opportunity to see the Camdenton Bands in some of their best performances of the year. As Mr. Baur says, this is the band's state comprehensive test. Saturday, March 18 - High School Solo and Ensemble Festival at Lebanon High School Saturday, March 18 at 6:30 pm - Dancing with the Stars at Camdenton High School. Come watch Mr. Paul Baur and Lauren Risner as they compete against other area dancers to raise money for Project Graduation. Buy tickets from Lauren and Mr. Baur to help them win this competition. Monday, April 10 at 7:30 pm - Jazz and Java will feature the Stage Band and the Jazz Band in the Camdenton High School band room. Enjoy great jazz, desserts, and coffee. Thursday, April 27 - State Solo and Ensemble Festival - University of Missouri Friday, April 28 at 5:30 pm - Elegant Evening - Enjoy a special night where the Camdenton High School Commons is transformed into a magical space. You will hear great instrumental jazz and vocal music, view amazing student art, and and taste culinary delights. R.C. Worthan Auditorium at the Camdenton High School We extend a special invitation for you to attend our 2016 Christmas Concert. A junior trombone player’s mom has this memory of the first Christmas Concert she attended: “I went knowing that I would hear great music. My 8th grade daughter’s band played and sounded fantastic. The concert band played and blew me away. As soon as the symphonic band played their first notes I thought, ‘I would have gladly paid to go to this concert.’” We hope that you have the same experience when you come to the Christmas Concert.
