The Camdenton Pride of the Lake Marching Band 2018 season is underway. In 2017, the band earned a spot in finals at the St. Louis Bands of America (BOA) Super Regional with the show "Tickled Pink". More importantly, band members were rewarded throughout the season by gaining skills in the areas of perseverance and cooperation while performing a show that was as fun to execute as it was to watch with the focus on improving individual and ensemble music skills throughout the season.
This year, the band is working toward performing its 2018 show with prop construction and band camp rehearsals well underway. This show will go on the road to the BOA Clarksville Regional September 29, the Branson, MO Marching Invitational October 13, the BOA San Antonio Super Regional November 2-3, and the BOA Grand Nationals Championship in Indianapolis, IN November 8-10. Don't miss the halftime performances at Bob Shore Stadium on August 31 and September 14 and before the October 5th Homecoming game.
The Camdenton Band's third place in Class AA (against 23 AA bands) and 14th place overall (against 67 bands) at the Bands of America St. Louis Super Regional was one for the record books because it was the first time that Camdenton made finals at BOA St. Louis. Enjoy the videos and the pictures from the season. Pictures and videos are in the thumbnails to the right of this post on your computer and just below this post on your phone. Stay with the band as it moves into concert/pep/jazz band season. It's going to be a great 2017-2018.
